since arrays in js are dynamically sized, this potentially reduces memory reallocations
(and also just helps code legibility)
null is typeof object, so this previously matched null as well, which is
undesirable

will want to remove the spaces from these to match the format I usually use/find more visually appealing and avoid having to discover whether systemd accepts that format with spaces the hard way, otherwise looks good! thank you so much
